STATEMENT

In a lifetime, one has a lot of sorrow or joy to go through. Some of them, you could understand when growing up. But what will happen to those kids who 1have not grown?

As a girl who lived in domestic violence, I spent my adolescence in depression. If I did not get to learn about emotion, I would not have tried to show those depressive moments by taking photos.

After the pictures got some notice, many friends from the Internet, who undergone miserable experiences or suffered from serious emotional disturbance, began to contact with me. Emotional pain could make one want to die. But in my opinion, it would be more meaningful, if we could speak up about it and make more people realize what kind of condition we are in.

When one is willing to show her scars or stories to my camera, she will be able to face and accept her unsightly past. To face the darkness is the most direct way of treatment.

I do hope every sad person in this world can be strong.
