《ME and Me》 CHEN Wenjun & JIANG Yanmei

STATEMENT

At the end of 2014, CHEN Wenjun and JIANG Yanmei started editing photography work me and me, we took photos for each other and ourselves for about 8 years, since we met each other. We are both photographers and couple, used to record the daily life of each other and share the photos on social medias. It was just some photos at the beginning, and then, we found it was the way that we could find out ourselves and the relationship between us.

By recording two young people’s daily life, deeply and sincerely, we could partly get a glimpse of young people’s lifestyle today in this condition.

There are 4 parts of this work:

1 The main book. 37 fine art photos, serious work.
2 Observe each other, two books, Wenjun Chen in my eyes and Yanmei Jiang in my eyes.
3 We write down our stories by letters. Two people, two version.
4 We show out our social medias’ news on a newspaper. It means that they all fade away soon.
